Kai is 4!

I love this family!  They have been coming to me for 2 years now, and will be moving away next week.  I am so sad to see them go!  What a send off, though.  We did Kai's 4 year pictures & plenty of family shots, in downtown East Peoria, with the Peoria skyline in the background.  Thanks so much for being fabulous clients, guys!  I will miss you very much!

Rassi Deployment Homecoming

 

Wow.  What can I say?  My heart melted during the actual homecoming, and again when I edited these photos!  This family is very dear to me and I am so happy to have been able to photograph this special day for them.  Jason was deployed in January of 2013 to Afghanistan with the 238th General Support Aviation Battalion.  He, along with 60 other soldiers, returned home for an early Christmas present for their families today.  The emotions ran high as Amanda, Zach and Will awaited his arrival after almost a year of being gone.  Once he was safely in their arms, the excitement turned to relief and comfort, and they got to take him home.  Happy Holidays, Rassi family!  Love to you!
